The Congress
will be organized around five themes:

Structure
of the Scientific Program
The Language
of the Congress will be English. There will not be any simultaneous translation.
Scientific
sessions will be held from the morning of Monday, August 12 until lunch
time on Thursday, August 15.
There will
be two plenary lectures each day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and
one on Thursday. There will be seven parallel sessions on the five themes
(thirty-five different sessions in all) of the Congress from Monday to
Thursday. Workshops and point-counterpoint sessions will take place each
day immediately after lunch on Monday to Wednesday. Posters will be on
display throughout the Congress.

Submitted
Contributions
All registered participants will be entitled to offer one poster presentation.
Abstracts should be submitted as early as possible, and must be
produced in accordance with the guidelines provided below. Abstracts
will be reviewed for their relevance to the aim and themes of the
Congress.
All the abstracts
will be edited to ensure a common format, and will be published in the
conference program book and on the web. The book will be distributed when
participants register at the hotel.
Some of the
participants who submit abstracts may be invited to make platform presentations
or to make comments during workshops.

Audiovisual
Aids
All the lecture
theaters will be provided with an overhead projector, a slide projector
and facilities for showing Powerpoint presentations. The Theme E lecture
room will also have facilities for showing videos.
