Opening Cermony and Welcome Reception

An Opening Ceremony lasting about three hours will be held on the evening of Sunday, August 11th, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. It will include a Welcome Reception, to give Congress participants a chance to meet each other.

Attendance at Congress Sections

It is hoped that all sessions of any kind will be open to all full Congress participants. However, to make this possible, we will have to know approximately how many participants will be likely to attend the various sessions, so that the sessions can be assigned to rooms of appropriate sizes. It is therefore requested that an Advance Session Attendance Form be returned with each Advance Registration Form, on which participants indicate their likely session attendances. This information will be used only for guidance, and participants will be able to change their minds during the Congress itself.
